“After everything we had been through, Inito played a huge role in helping me feel empowered and in tune with my body and ultimately, in helping us achieve our dream.”
How I Navigated TTC After a PCOS Diagnosis
We started trying to conceive in December 2022, full of hope and excitement. Like many couples, we assumed it would just take some time. But after several months without success, that optimism slowly turned into questions.
By August 2023, I went to my doctor looking for answers. That’s when I was diagnosed with PCOS. From there, we were referred to a fertility clinic and began treatment, stepping into a phase of our journey that felt far more medical than we ever expected.
When TTC Became Overwhelming
Over the next several months, we tried five medicated cycles, including four IUIs. Each cycle came with its own mix of hope and pressure, and over time, it all began to feel overwhelming.
Eventually, I made the decision to take a step back. I needed a break, not just from treatments, but from the constant stress of trying to force my body into a timeline. I wanted to focus on my health and reconnect with my body instead of feeling disconnected from it.
That pause ended up becoming an important turning point for me.
Finding Inito While Navigating PCOS and TTC
During that break, I discovered Inito through an influencer. I started using it in January 2025, and for the first time in my entire TTC journey, I was able to confidently confirm ovulation each cycle.
For someone with PCOS, that clarity was huge. Instead of guessing or relying solely on predictions, I could actually see what my hormones were doing. Inito gave me peace of mind and a sense of control that had been missing throughout our journey.
The Inito Community
While trying to conceive, I was also part of the Inito online Facebook community group, and it became one of the most supportive parts of my journey.
Reading about other women’s experiences, especially those who also struggle with PCOS, made me feel less alone. I really appreciated being able to help others too, whether it was answering questions about using the device, interpreting charts, or sharing what I had learned along the way.
The cycle I ended up getting pregnant was anything but typical. We were traveling in Hawaii, and I ovulated later than expected. I ran out of Inito sticks and didn’t have time to order more.
Not knowing what else to do, I posted in the community group asking if anyone on Oahu had extra sticks. Amazingly, someone responded and I was able to meet up with her to get a few more so I could continue testing. The support and generosity of the community still amazes me.
Why Testing Consistently Matters With PCOS
Because of travel, I wasn’t able to fully confirm ovulation with Inito that cycle. However, I did get my LH (luteinizing hormone) peaks. I actually had two LH peaks. Inito initially predicted ovulation earlier in the cycle, but I kept testing and saw a second LH surge later on. That second spike is the one that helped me get pregnant.
My situation was a little different because of travel, but it really highlighted how important it is to keep testing with PCOS. Hormones don’t always follow a single, predictable pattern, and having visibility into those hormone shifts matters.
The day I returned from my trip, I took a pregnancy test and it was positive.
